Concave Myth integrates experimental video, installation, and text in the form of literary fiction. Inspired by collaborative relay writing with peers, it blends elements from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Eastern folklore, intertwining metaphors from Eastern and Western mythologies. Influenced by The Story of the Stone and Plato’s allegory of the cave, the project explores the blurred line between truth and falsehood, reflecting on how mythology shapes subconscious perceptions.
Through montage, typological photography, and staged fiction, I transformed textual narratives into nonlinear experimental videos, installations, and auditory works. Key motifs like rabbit holes and meteorites emerge as installations, symbolising the act of "digging holes" to confront nihilism. By creating a state of ambiguity, I invite the audience to engage with the authenticity of my stories with playful skepticism.
