Set in Huangye Village, shaped by feudalism and colonisation, my work uses absurdity and virtuality to explore cultural invasion and historical memory. Artificial elements like "growing" measuring tapes and thermal imaging films of stray cats contrast nature’s wild growth with human absence, embodying traces of a lost civilisation and inviting reflection on vitality, history, and disappearance.
