The short film uses a personal perspective to explore the broader landscape of virtual worlds shaped by a stream-of-consciousness approach. Inspired by Marcel Mauss’s The Gift and his study of the Māori gifting tradition, it reflects on his idea that ‘to accept something from somebody is to accept some part of his spiritual essence, of his soul’ (Mauss, 2000, p.16).
